At Cathryn's suggestion I directed the driver to take me on to Kampung Pulau Betong. He was an experienced chap but admitted he'd never been there. It was a small fishing village well off the beaten track at the south end of Penang island. (It rates a mention in "Lonely Planet") . This fisherman was filletting the day's catch while puss lingered nearby waiting for scraps.
