Just three miles south of the Utah, Arizona
border Highway 89A passes through the small town of
Fredonia, Arizona. Founded in 1885, Fredonia is home
to approximately 1200 residents. A community rich in
western culture and heritage. Fredonia has become
thoroughfare for tourists visiting the Grand Circle
of National Parks in Arizona, Utah and Nevada.

The Fredonia Marshal's Office currently staffs a Marshal,
three Deputy Marshals and two reserves. The Fredonia
Marshal's Office is a strong DARE supporter, having two
DARE certified officers that maintain a presence at our
elementary school. Fredonia has a K-9 program utilizing a
Belgium Malinois named Maverick. Maverick is trained in
narcotic detection and patrol. Officers are cross certified
as AZ and National Registry EMT's and also serve as volunteer
firefighters. The Fredonia Marshal's Office is dedicated to
community service through Community Oriented Policing.
