City's motto lives in Parada del Sol
The City of Scottsdale, Arizona, has long been known as
"The West's Most Western Town." A mecca of resorts, fine
art and high-tech industry, Scottsdale has grown rapidly
over the last 30 years to become a sophisticated and cultured
city, ranking as one of the top tourist destinations in America.
The Parada del Sol festival makes its annual appearance in
Old Town Scottsdale which features music, food and fun, all
with a Western flair.
Festivities begin with the Hashknife Pony Express mail
delivery. In a nod to the Old West, riders on horseback
will ride in shifts through the night to deliver mail from
Holbrook to Scottsdale's main post office at noon.
This generally in the first part of February for more information
