The lightning flashes are an allusion to the basic mission
of the organization, and the color blue refers to the unit's
ability to support the combat mission. The two flashes simulate
the roman numeral two and suggest the unit's numerical designation.
The globe alludes to the worldwide scope of the unit's mission
and the unit's affiliation with the United States Army
Communications Command.
