350th Infantry Regiment
Coat of Arms Pocket Patch
SHIELD:
Per bend azure and gules, a bend argent between an ear of corn
partially husked and a fleur-de-lis or.
The blue of the shield is for infantry. The bend is taken
from the arms of Lorraine and refers to service in France
during World War I. The Iowa State flag is blue, white and red;
accordingly the shield is in the same colors to represent the
home area of the regiment. The fleur-de-lis also refers to
service in France, while the ear of corn alludes to "The Corn
Song," the soldiers' marching song of Iowa.
MOTTO: Fidelity and Service.
