Dufour 36, Sail for the 75th Anniversary of Golden Gate on May 27, 2012, Sausalito
Weather was not our side for really great images. In Sausalito we saw patches of blue sky, but San Francisco Bay was under a gray cover of coastal stratus and fog. An attraction was a parade on an Air Carrier. Later in the evening the weather improved, but it was windy and cold. We stopped on the Angel Island for a warm meal, in the anticipation of the long evening on the water in very harsh conditions. The Anniversary Fireworks started at 9:30. It was windy and choppy throughout the entire event. Not an easy to maneuver between an armada of other boats.
