The San Francisco Tall Ship Parade
turned out to be an event of a very moderate size. Unfortunately all larger
ships have canceled the participation. The parade itself was chosen
to be a Wednesday, what contributed to a relatively small number of spectators.
Probably the main attraction were the historic vessels or replicas:
Lynx :
a replica of a Privateer from the independence war.
The wind was 20-25 knots, with ghosts up to 30 knots. It was cold and the typical stratus was moving
fast with the wind and obscuring the Bay.
The wind was very chilly but we were fortunate that the stratus stayed some
