The original destination for our May 19th trip were the
Farallon Islands.
Considered the harsh weather with rain, cold wind and haze, we have
reconsidered. We did some good sailing in the vicinity of Point Lobos
and were headed back to the civilization for some warm meal.
The city of San Francisco was preparing itself for the Memorial Day weekend. We saw several war ships docking in the city. Some of them were guarded by armed sailors on small boats. Probably a measure resulting from the September 11 events... |
