Amboseli

Amboseli National Park had their 3rd (and worst) straight year of drought in 2009. Just prior to (and during) our December visit there were rains, so the ground is deceptively green in these photos--but there was significant wildlife and domestic livestock losses. The Masai tribe we visited, for example, had lost all of their cattle.
