43087 11 Explosive Ordnance Disposal Regiment Royal Logistic Corps (b.1978, Crewe Works) arrives at Truro station (passing Truro signal box) on 4 August 2014 with train 1C81, the 12.06 First Great Western service from London Paddington to Penzance. 43042 was on the rear of this, 'The Royal Duchy' service. Truro signal box (originally Truro East) is a Great Western Railway (GWR) type 7a structure dating from 1899 and is fitted with a 54-lever frame that was originally fitted to Bristol East Depot Main Line signal box.
