Cobweb Bridge, Sheffield

The Cobweb Bridge in Sheffield, photographed on 29 June 2019. Designed by Sheffield City Council's Structures Section, the entire 330-foot long bridge carries the Five Weirs Walk under the Wicker Arches railway viaduct while linking one bank of the River Don to the other. The web of steel support wires give the bridge its name. Just visible overhead are the large steel spiders that conceal the lighting.
