The level crossing west of Tutbury & Hatton station, photographed on 30 June 2020. Tutbury Crossing signal box is a McKenzie & Holland (McK&H) type 1 dating from c.1872 (although the uPVC windows are obviously from much later than that!) Here we're looking north, towards Hatton, and East Midlands Railway's 156409 is sneaking into shot on the left with train 1K12, the 12.07 Saturdays & Sundays excepted (SSuX) service from Crewe to Derby.
