Psychedelic Dreams

It's amazing what you can do with a few hours free, a bottle of wine and a derranged mind...

The following all began life as regular photos, but I got a bit bored one night, and got somewhat carried away with some of the features on Photoshop.

This is not my normal sort of thing, so I'd be interested to know what you think of them.

This is all just a bit of silliness, and I shall probably cull alot of these sometime soon.

psychedelics and drunk dont mix because psychedelics open your third eye and allow you to be aware and in tune with it. drinking alchohol effectively CALCIFIES your third eye(over time), ruining it. get with the times, the earth is trying to make us evolve but were halting the process. its proven that some animals, lizards for instance, have third eyes which are developing past ours, having a cornea retina and a lens already. or you can take the man-made materialistic route of enhancing your mind by letting natural foods and fruit rot and then drink the byproduct

Looks like a lot of fun. So very different from your other galleries, it's hard for me to imagine what the source images must have been like. Back in the 60's we had to do pretty complex and costly techniques with film to get anything like the abstractions PhotoShop makes so accessible. Thanks for sharing your experimental side in addition to your experiential side.

These certainly are psychedelic Serena and far better than looking at all those ridiculous baby and pet shots that people keep posting. Talk about boring..... these creations at least are vibrant and colorful and fun whether you're drunk, stoned or straight! ; ) - DC

Like I made a big point of saying when I posted these, I was only having a laugh and messing around - I'm not trying to make out I did anything special at all - of course people can get better results. I really don't know what you've got your knickers in a twist about, matey - you've got way too much anger going on! And who says psychedelic and drunk don't mix...what are you, the thought police? It's people like you that give Americans a bad name. Take a chill pill, dude!! What a freak!! To anyone else out there who has been offended by this, I don't think I'm big or clever over it - I don't even think I'm an "artist" as that highly strung Zoomer put it. I'm not looking for praise - if you like it, fine - if not, fine.

Anyone can spin a few Photoshop filters and get results better than this. I suspect people are praising this work for the wrong reasons. BE HONEST, if you think it's crap, say it...otherwise the artist won't get better. JEEZ! Anyway, these are totally crap by the way, and "Psychedelic" + "Drunk" don't mix. I agree with previous poster, try LSD and while you're at it, put these pics in the trash where they belong!!
