From Phnom Penh I caught a crowded minibus south, to the sleepy town of Kampot. Kampot is on the tourist trail insofar as it is a basse for visiting the nearby abandonned hill station of Bokor, but I (like many others) found I enjoyed the relaxed, small-town pace of life, and super freindly people.

I stayed at Blissful Guest House, which I could highly recommend to anyone heading to the area; it is the kind of place where you feel at home as soon as you arrive.
