The month of May went by like a flash. Locally, the Mississippi River grew larger and larger and water rushed through the cracks in the locks of the Bonnet Carre' Spillway causing flooding on the bottom road and road closure. However, fishermen and sportsmen had a grand time in the water and the herons and egrets got their fill as River fish rushed in with the water.
