Pelican Sunset on the Mississippi River

Montz, Louisiana

The River is spilling over its banks so rapidly into the Bonnet Carre' Spillway that by tomorrow morning the pelicans will have lost their little piece of dry land.
The normal bank is the line of bare willows.

Outstanding light, color and silouhettes. A nice balance of man and nature in this sunset. V.

Gorgeous sunset. I like how you positioned the tower right in the middle of the ship.

Beautiful! The Mississippi drips about 700 feet before it leaves Minnesota, then only drops 700 feet all the way to its mouth at the Gulf.
