Old Lighthouse with Yatch Club in Background

Lakeshore Drive

The Coast Guard has not removed the remains of the lighthouse yet. The New Orleans Yatch Club, the second oldest in the country, burned in the height of the winds of Katrina. The building in the background is now a temporary structure that the members are using. The yatchs and sailboats sailed into the harbor and the members were enjoying the sunset on the deck.
