Ormond Plantation on the Great River Road

Destrehan, Louisiana

Once a working plantation that grew sugar cane and indigo, it is now open for tourists. Built in the late 1700's.

Well maintained and beautiful historic house. I imagine that tree is as old as the home. Lovely photo.
