Trucks Lined Up-Waiting

Private contractors line up along Marconi Drive right outside City Park waiting for directions from the Corps of Engineers to begin the cleanup of Hurricane Katrina's destruction. The Corps of Engineers; that should say something right there. They are the ones in charge of the levees that broke and flooded the City, literally turning it into a ghost town and costing the lives of hundreds of people who drowned, not to mention the billions in property damage. The human suffering of people on rooftops for five days waiting to be rescued is immeasurable. In the hot sun thousands of them blistered in the sweltering sun. Man's inhumanity to humanity.
