Jefferson Davis, President of the Confederacy 1861

This statue was taken down by the Mayor of New Orleans after it had stood in place for 100 years. A beautiful work of art, it now sits in a City dump where he had it delivered. He promised the people of New Orleans it would be stored in a warehouse.
