In the early 1900's Henry Ford had contracts with moss pickers in Louisiana to supply him with moss to use as stuffing in the seats of his automobiles.

Impressive photo... Are the trees mainly live oaks or cypress? The ground surface is intriguing. Looks like water or blue shadows on a snow field in Louisiana?
