Received word this morning, August 30, 2013, that PBaser A. J. Adams www.pbase.com/ajadams died of a heart attack. A. J. and his brother, Hilton, were both such good men. They grew up on the bayou and loved all creatures great and small. A. J.'s photographs of birds are as good as they get.
A. J. and I had planned to go out to the waterfields next week to photograph the lotus; we postponed it from this week because alligator season opened.
What a shock and what a loss.
