Rose Survived the Fire

Prytania and Josephine in New Orleans

While I was taking pictures, crews were tearing down the massive walls of the church that burned last night. Parts of the church were still burning, too. It seemed such a waste to tear down everything that was left standing including two beautiful stained glass windows, but insurance companies have rules.

Live amongst the ruins. It is too bad they wouldn't let anyone have the stained glass! V

Heartbreaking was the first word that came to mind and then I saw that Sandy had the same thought. An inspired image, Coleen.
