A small strip of land surrounds the little lighthouse and hopefully preservationists can keep it from sliding into the Lake.
In the movie "Benjamin Button" there are several beautiful scenes of the lighthouse, supposedly taking place in the 1950's. About 90 per cent of the movie was filmed in New Orleans and southeast Louisiana and is a fantastic film.
Coleen Perilloux Landry retains the international copyright not only for the original image but also for any versions of it.
