This is the chapel on the grounds of the Carmelite Monastery in Covington, Louisiana.
The Carmelite Order is one who remains mostly cloistered and spends most of their days in prayer.
This chapel was brought here on a flatbed truck, a long and tedious ordeal, from Bedico, Louisiana. It was a donation to the nuns. Most of it is original to the structure except for a new pine floor and the simple, yet beautiful, stained glass windows.
Coleen Perilloux Landry retains the international copyright not only for the original image but also for any versions of it.
