The four golf courses at City Park sat under water for several weeks in September 2005. After that the grass grew.
Ironically, the grass in this photo is rather dry as we have not had rain in several weeks.
In October 2008 one of the courses has been reopened. They're not perfect yet but it does not appear to stop the golfing enthusiasts who are back in full force.
Golfing in City Park is a New Orleans tradition and perfect for the "good old boys Friday groups".
