St. Cecilia Catholic Church

Bywater Neighborhood - New Orleans

This is one of the many churches that the Archbishop of New Orleans has closed and deconsecrated.
The Daughters of Charity (a religious order of nuns who formerly owned the New Orleans Charity Hospital) has opened a small clinic here to serve the community.

I really loved the period when we had lasting architectural detail in our places of worship.
