ScanGauge II

The ScanGaugeII is an extremely compact automotive computer designed to read and display information about your vehicle in real time. In the photo above, I'm monitoring 1) Miles remaining on current tank, 2) Instantaneous miles-per-gallon (0.0 since I'm not moving), 3) Instantaneous horsepower, and 4) Water/coolant temperature. Any four of at least 12 gauges can be displayed, plus it reads error codes from your engine, and can be easily moved from car to car.

Simply connect the ScanGaugeII to your vehicle through it's OBDII port using the included cable, turn the ignition key and the ScanGaugeII automatically connects to your cars internal computer - it's that simple.

You can say that again...My dealership wanted almost $500 for my 40,000 mile check-up. I didn't do it. I just had a few things done (oil, etc.) at a local shop.

Clever gizmo.
Mine just is over 100.000 kms .
I was in VW dealer to do due check up and change oil. Everything fine, anyway I paid about $250. I bet the Beetle maintenance is more expensive than a Golf with same engine...
