The custom-made mount I use isn't permanent. It just goes into the bud vase hole. If I'm not on a trip, I keep it in the house and replace it with the vase.

A GPS is very useful, but it spoils the beauty of your car. Why don´t put it glues in the windscreen ?.Mine is use in the hand of my wife or, when a drive alone , in windscreen.
It´s amzing what that little beast knows about names a streets
