In 1931, Archer and Anna Hyatt Huntington, founded Brookgreen Gardens, a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation, to preserve the native flora and fauna and display objects of art within that natural setting. Brookgreen is one of the country's leading cultural and educational institutions and a National Historic Landmark. Within it's more than 9,000 acres are the Lowcountry History and Wildlife Preserve, the Huntington Sculpture Garden and the Center for American Sculpture.
Brookgreen Gardens is indeed a beautiful place. It was founded in 1931 by Archer and Anna Hyatt Huntington, as a place to showcase her art. It now showcases the work of many artists.
http://www.brookgreen.org/ is their web site. It is located in Murrells Inlet, SC, 18 miles south of Myrtle Beach, SC and 70 miles north of Charleston, SC.

The Sculpture is beautiful. This seems to be a place I would love to visit so what is the address for the beautiful Brookgreen Gardens? Can you give a little more history?
