This was once the Linekona (Lincoln) School. Handsomely refurbished, it is now an Academy Art Center.
This building in its lifetime has housed an elementary school (Lincoln Elementary),
a high school (McKinley High), a school for immigrants (Honolulu District SLEP),
a college (University of Hawaii before its Manoa site), and an art school (Academy Arts Center).
Perhaps no other building can claim such a diverse educational heritage.
