This BC Cup Race was held using classic technique, meaning skating was not allowed. The race was started with a mass start for each age class. The results were determined by the order in which the skiers crossed the finish line. Age classes were 8 and under, two year age classes from 9 to 20, 10 year age classes from 21 to 50 and 51 and older.
