The Telemark Cross Country Ski Club is located near Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada. On January 21,2006 the Club hosted a free technique BC Cup race. BC Cup is the premier cross country race series for the Province of British Columbia. This race had an interval start with racers starting every 15 seconds. Elapsed time was calculate electronically to determine results. BC Cup races are done by age class by gender. Age classes start at 8 and under, two year age classes from 9 to 20, 10 year age classes from 21 to 50 and 51 and older.
