The BC Cup Free Technique, interval start race at Overlander Cross Country Ski Club near Kamloops was the final BC Cup race of the 2006-2007 season and formed part of the BC Championships.

You may notice some tall stumps in the background. This area had an infestation of pine bark beetle that required removal of almost all pine trees before they became a fire hazard and a danger to skiers. Instead of cutting the stumps at ground level, they were cut high so that it would be easy to find the location of the ski trails when covered with snow.
