The BC Midget Championships were held at Telemark Cross Country Ski Club near Kelowna an February 3-4, 2007. This gallery contains pictures from the Free Technique Sprint Races on February 4. The sprint competition start with a qualification race which is an individual start with results determined by elapsed time to the finish. This is electronically timed. The qualification round is used to determine seeding in the elimination heats. The heats start with head to head competition in heats of 3 to 6 skiers, depending on the number of entries in the class. The first two in each heat advance to the next heat and so on until the winners are determined.
