The BC Midget Championships is for skiers aged 11 to 13. The purpose for this race is to give attention to young skiers this age who often get overlooked in races where all age classes are present. This is their chance to be the centre of attention. This race was a relay made up of four skiers per team. There were two races, one for girls and the other for boys. The first two skiers each did a lap of the track using classic technique. The second two skiers used free technique. The race began with a mass start with the first team to cross the finish line being the winner.
