The BBC had an the official opening on the next day.
We were in our hotel room and watched the evening news on the TV.
During the News Broadcast I thought they had inadvertently left a mic open
but it turned out to be the noise from the opening party close to the news suite.
The quality of the BBC a little further down the pan!! (same as most other things in the UK).
Am I getting old??
