Oil Storage Depot Fire

Buncefield, Hemel Hempstead

We live about eight miles from the depot.
Adrienne, who is hard of hearing, was woken by the explosion.
I didn't hear anything and slept on.

We drove up to Barnet to visit friends and I took this photo from Potters Bar 14 miles from the fire.

The oil fire is in England? I thought it was France. I guess I didn't read the newspaper photo caption carefully. Don't breathe. Ominous looking.
