We have just got back from a hard days work over at Peter and Helen’s cottage.
They are moving tomorrow from Lidlington to Flitwick.
There was lots of packing up to do of course and some doors and other timber had to be removed in readiness for the larger items to be brought down the narrow steep stairs.
As draws and cupboards became empty Adrienne gave them a good clean.
I will be hiring a lorry first thing in the morning to do the move and Adrienne will come to keep us in order. I only hope there are no delays on the M1 motorway.

Jess was in their garden when we stopped to have tea and cream éclairs.
