Fire Brigade Long Service and Good Conduct Medal

We were given these medals after twenty years of undetected crime.(i.e. not being caught bending the rules)

It is something nice to go to the kids after I'm gone.

I'm very proud to have an Uncle who has served his local community so faithfully over so many years, including putting himself at risk and in harms way to rescue folks in trouble. A very well deserved recognition.

It's impressive . . . but pardon y ignorance . .what does it mean "undetected crime"? You didn't find any or there wasn't any?
