Pond Ice with Duckweed

Adrienne and I had a great idea.
We have a problem with floating duckweed in the garden pond.
Why not wait till the surface is frozen, break the ice, and remove it and the weed at the same time.
The only trouble is that with the ice being quite thick, and my having to stretch across to lift it out, I have put my back out.
Any offers of massage will be considered…….

Fly me over Chris. I love to visit England. Very mucky shot.

I can relate very much to that. I will do some healing for you!

Sounds like a reasonable plan ... hope your back gets better soon ... ouch.

Take a nice hot bath. Relax.

Sounds like a great idea! Unfortunately the consequences weren't so great. I hope your back gets better soon! However, this picture is quite nice! I like the crystallized ice mixing with the organic elements.

Sorry to hear about your back, Chris. I cannot help, but I know of a few ladies who would like to, although the travelling may be a bit inconvenient for them. However, you have done very well here. A fine study of the transition between winter and the forthcoming spring.
