Hyde Mill

I had the black-dog of depression on my shoulder this morning.....so I took it for a walk.
It is a lovely day, bright sunshine and a crisp frost.
Although the field is behind the houses on the other side of the road, access to it is about ½ mile away.
A footpath runs along a disused railway line up the valley.
I walked as far as Hyde Mill and back.
I now feel much better.

I used the 200mm lens for the first time.
I found it to be very good, and was pleased to find that if focuses down to 1ft.

I like this one best. I like the foggy steam coming off the pond. Very nice!

I hope we won't be seeing horse meat on tomorrow's menu!
