Japanese Satsuma Vases

I have spent the day taking photos of a relative's china collection.
It was great fun taking the photos but handling some of the porcelain figures was rather scary.
I think I liked these two vases best.

One rule of composition is to use odd numbers of objects. Here my eye goes back and forth between the two. They are pretty though.

Great product shot. I like the blue and grey background/base you used to pose the vases.
