John Lewis WGC

This is the background of one of the window displays at John Lewis, which is my favourite department store.

Have you ever been surprised by seeing a photo after taking it???

What it was that made that shadow I have no idea.....your guess is as good as mine.

Excellent composition with the ornaments hanging on the left and the shadows balancing out on the right.

Not the easiest thing to do when holding a camera. I think I should get the MBE.

Well, Chris, I'm glad you eventually got this shot. Were you hiding your camera under your coat?? Without the shadows you would definitely have had to crop it, but those stars really make the picture. Its really a wonderful capture and I think it will be allowed in November! ~~~Ray.

Chris, this is amazing! I recognized it right away from a shot that Steve Roden took CLICK HERE I love the shadows in this, and the fact that it was a surprise to see makes it better!! I also wish we had John Lewis herein teh States, they obviously have cool stuff!

I like this shot Chris ... neat lighting on the ornaments and the reflections are a great idea. I know exactly what you mean about discovering something in your photo unexpected ... funny isn't it.
