Great Photo. Im in the US Army in Germany. We always use the time called Zulu time. Witch is based on Greenwich Mean time. Know matter where someone in the US Army is stationed its always "ZULU" Greenwich Mean time.

Thank you for the kind comments.

I remembered what day it was yesterday and thought "Time". I had planned to buy a glass egg timer in JL but forgot.

I'm not at all pleased with the outcome. It does not have the artistic quality of the whisky one. The flash is harsh.

I have bought a flash grip and cable(at lunatic prices)to get my large flash off the camera. They are to be given to me for Christmas so we will have to wait to see the how they work out in due course.

Hey, Chris, this is brilliant!! Had you planned this, or did you think of it in the 'thinking room' in the early hours?? I didn't suss out the olive stones bit straight away but its really neat how you've managed to find a sixth one that is longer than the rest! ~~~Ray.

Congratulations Linda.
The Greenwich Time Signal 5 short pips followed by one longer one is broadcast by the BBC on the hour(they sometimes use Big Ben instead). They are generated by an atomic clock, I can't remember where. They also bleep on the quarter hours, as one can somtimes hear, when they have forgotten to turn them off.

Is it the pips?

Well Nikki,

When a chap is getting on a bit.....he may feel the need.....to get up.... now...and again...and again...etc...If that same chap is due for an inspection on Tuesday with a TV camera to find out why he feels this need....he may not sleep too well as Tuesday gets closer....if you get my drift. Photography is a pleasent interlude. I may not take my camera with me like I did to the dentist!!!

NOW YOU LOT, Why has no one asked what the the Olive Stones are for????

You are either too clever or are shy.

Hey thanks - reminds me my camera clocks need to go back too!! Good idea and well executed - now you've missed your extra hour in bed by the looks!!

Well thought out! I have to ask though: What on earth were you doing up at such a horrible hour of the night??!
