Hyde Mill

Another lovely day.
On my way to see my mother-in-law this afternoon, I made a short detour to see if there was a photo to be taken at the Mill that I can see from my study window.
It lies a few feet over the county border in Bedfordshire.
The river that the horse is drinking from is the River Lea which rises north of Luton and flows across Hertfordshire before swinging south into London and the River Thames.

Love this shot, Chris. I like the way you've composed this with the fence and a little peek of the road in the foreground. The drinking horse adds a feel of spontaneity to the image. Very nicely done. Isn't there something incredibly wonderful about farms? :)
