I found Zihuatanejo to be a fascinating and original jewel in the rough…still quite untouristy; yummy food and lots of different beaches and scenes one wouldn't normally see so much. Our accommodation was a short half hour walk down hill to town and the buses to go elsewhere. It was also a long half hour uphill at the end of the day.
