Robert E Lee Bridge

Richmond, Virginia

Had a lovely trip to Richmond but didn't get much of a chance for photography. I think the Vancouver weather hunted us down as it was almost the same weather there as in Vancouver. That being said, its a wonderful city I'd love to just travel to and take time to simply photograph its many facets. Goes without saying, so much history there too.

This bridge is spanning the James river and had the coolest pedestrian walkway going over to Belle Island where a major confederate encampment was at one time.

This structure is a little hard to figure out initially since it looks like it is both right side up and sideways at the same time. I do love the visual stimulation I get from looking at it. Very well done as always. ~V~
