Wow stunning, agree that this is a difficult shot with such strong contrast between background and foreground, especially to expose the brightly lit background for 3s, ND filter was used?

Wow, Derek! This is really amazing. I'm thinking this was a really difficult shot with such contrast between dark and light. The colors are brilliant and the perspective is just fantastic. It's always a treat to come back and revisit this gallery!

A refractive, mercurial and metallic iridescence that occurs on the surface of water towards the end of day; it’s one of my favorite qualities of that and any wilderness area. Great capture job Derek; not an easy trap to set at three seconds. g
