bunker grill

In estate Clingendael in The Hague many ruins of the German Atlantic wall are found amidst the tall trees. Nowadays these bunkers give home to many species of animals like the (protected) bat as they cannot find refuge any more in our well sealed attics.

dat is het vreemde dat het nergens zwart en nergens echt wit is het is maar hoe het licht valt. toch gek dat hoe dieper je zoekend door de bossen dwaalt des te donkerder het wordt o maar je kent wel de paden de stevige zandwallen het bladerdek van beuken dat het zonlicht filtert maar je kent toch wel de weg? daar is het. het huis op de heuvel als een sprookje in dat licht dat het dan toch uit blinde muren gebouwd blijkt het pad een doodlopende weg. kom dichterbij. raak het ruwe aan, bevraag hoe ondoordringbaar deze muren zijn en wat er schuilt achter de opening wiens handen stortten het beton het lijkt te ademen. en dat dat is het vreemde dat het nergens zwart en nergens echt wit is het is maar hoe het licht valt.
